1. Does it hurt?!
The short answer is, yes, it will probably hurt to get a tattoo. The Zen answer is that pain is temporary. The Jedi answer is that pain will turn you into a master of the force—maybe.
Pain thresholds vary from person to person. The intent is on ensuring the ink that is placed into your skin will look beautiful and vibrant for many years to come; however, you will not suffer unspeakable torment at the hands of your tattoo artist. They will check in to make sure you remain calm and comfortable. Many people equate the pain to a bad sunburn.
If you are you truly terrified at the thought of any pain, there are now multiple products available on Amazon to minimize discomfort during tattoo sessions.
2. How much does a tattoo cost?
The cost of a tattoo is determined by the size and complexity of the tattoo as well as the experience and expertise of the artist.
Our shop minimum is $80 and our tattoo artists charge on an hourly basis.
Estimates can be given in person or by emailing the relevant artist with reference pics, approximate size and placement, and whether you want it in color or black and gray.
3. What about touch ups?
We customarily offer our clients free touchups within one year of receiving a tattoo from our shop. It is not uncommon for a minor imperfection to pop up or for some of the color to fade or fall out during healing, so we correct these things for the customer's satisfaction and the tattoo's integrity.
4. Do I need an appointment?
Walk-ins are always welcome and we staff enough artists to have someone available for you to talk with. If you would like to book time with a specific artist, an appointment is preferred.
5. How do I pay?
We are a cash only shop, so please come prepared. If not, we have an ATM available for our convenience.
